Is Pellet Therapy a New Type of Treatment?

Here at Contemporary Health Center, our mission is to help you look and feel your best. We’ve been talking a lot lately about Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Is this treatment something new?

The answer is no. Though significant advances have been made since its inception, pellet therapy is definitely not new. We’ve had access to hormonal pellets for about thirty years. However, in the past, the biggest problem faced by those using pellet therapy is that pellets just didn’t last long enough.

Fast-forward to 2014 and we’re employing crystalline technology in making pellets for treatment. By using this method, pellets last much longer than ever before. In women, pellets usually last for between three and four months and in men, pellets last for about six months.

Doctor Bloy prepared a short video on this subject. You can watch it by clicking on the YouTube player below. If you’d like more information about Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, or if you’d like to make an appointment, please call our office at (239) 333-3345.
