What results can I expect?
You can expect to see a gradual decrease in hair density, thickness and the amount of hair in the area. Multiple treatments are needed for complete removal.
When will I notice the results?
Results may appear noticeable in days or in the week following each treatment. Each session is estimated to destroy 10-15% of the follicles in the treated area. So, there is further visible reduction in hair with each session. While every individual’s growth cycles and hair dispersement are different, our protocol aims to achieve the desired result in as few sessions as possible. Full results will be achieved after the series is completed. This treatment is a protocol of 6-10 sessions which varies based on individual factors. Patients commonly require 6+ sessions to achieve desired hair reduction. Although some patients will have desired result with less sessions, we find 8 sessions is most effective at eliminating hair from an area for most patients. The number of treatments necessary to clear most hair truly does vary based on individual factors and cannot always be precisely determined. Patient response is excellent, though, so we highly recommend treatment.
Treatments are spaced 4-8 weeks apart. This varies by area treated based on the area’s average growth cycles.
The treatment takes only 10-15 minutes.
No, not at all! The treatment does not have any discomfort or pain. The gentle constant energy destroys follicles with accumulated energy rather than the painful bursts associated with other lasers. It is entirely comfortable.

No. Patients can return to work or activities right away. Swimming, excessively sweaty activities and sauna use can be resumed the next day.
Simple. The treated area may be red, sensitive to hot water, or tender after treatment for a few hours. Singed hair may be shed from the follicle in a few days. Occasionally, follicles are inflamed briefly and this subsides naturally. Do not pick at the follicles. Beyond that, resume normal hygiene and routine.

Thank you for choosing Contemporary Health Center to provide this service for you. We are proud to offer you the best treatment, skill and service at the best price. We are committed to keeping our prices low for our patients. Unfortunately, missed appointments are costly and effect our ability to provide service to others.
A missed appointment is a loss to three (3) people, the client who missed the valuable time, another client who could have used the valuable time and the practitioner who was staffed and prepared for the treatment. Please be considerate of others and provide at least 24 business hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
____It is important that you be on time for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals cause other patients to have to wait longer to receive their treatments. If you are more than 10 minutes late, there will likely not be enough time to receive your treatment and you will have to be rescheduled.If your appointment is rescheduled due to a late arrival, it will be treated the same as a no show or late cancellation and fees will apply.
____A deposit of $50 is required to book your first laser hair removal appointment and all individual pay as you go laser hair removal treatments. This $50 deposit will be refunded at your appointment or can be used toward your treatment cost.
____Late arrivals, late cancellation or missed appointments cost us valuable time that cannot be used to see other patients.
____1st late arrival, no show, late cancellation under 24 business hours before your appointment, or missed appointment will be charged a fee of $50 to cover some of the staff time reserved for your treatment. This charge must be paid before further treatments can be scheduled or received. We will require a deposit of $50 to book your next treatment even if you have a prepaid package plan or a payment plan package. This deposit will be refunded at your appointment or can be applied toward your treatment cost. The deposit will NOT be refunded if you no show or late cancel or have to have your appointment rescheduled due to late arrival. Your treatment package and/or payment plan do not cover charges for missed appointments or late cancellations.
____2nd and 3rd late arrival, no show, late cancellation under 24 business hours before your appointment, or missed appointment will be charged $100 to cover some of the staff time reserved for your appointment. This charge must be paid before further treatments can be scheduled or received. We will require a deposit of $50 to book your next treatment if you have a prepaid package plan or a payment plan package or prepayment of the service booked. The deposit will be refunded at your appointment or will be applied toward your treatment cost. The deposit will NOT be refunded if you no show or late cancel or have to have your appointment rescheduled due to late arrival. Your treatment package and/or payment plan do not cover charges for missed appointments or late cancellations.
____4th late arrival, no show missed appointment or late cancellation will result in termination of your treatment package if you have a package or the full charge of the treatment scheduled.
____If you cancel after business hours via voicemail, Facebook or email, your appointment will be considered cancelled at the start of the next business day.
