What Is Labiaplasty?

Many women are bothered with labia irregularities that show thru in certain clothing, cause discomfort while engaging in some activities, or cause them to feel embarrassed. Protruding, malformed or distorted labia are fairly common. Genetics, child birth, and aging can cause the labia to protrude.

Today, women are not resigned to live with this condition This issue is nothing to be embarrassed about and, like many other bothersome issues, can be corrected easily.

What is labiaplasty?

With a labiaplasty, the labia are skillfully reshaped in a simple 1-2 hour in office surgical procedure. The area is fully numbed using local numbing medications, so more risky anesthesia is not necessary.

The resulting labia shape, symmetric and aligned, is natural and more comfortable. Sensitivity and function are always preserved. Visible scars, irregularity, hypersensitivity are avoided.

Labiaplasty is a very delicate procedure that demands expertise in cosmetic gynecology.

Is Labiaplasty right for me?

No two women are alike, nor should they be.

The goal of labiaplasty is not to meet some culturally-imposed ideal, but to restore confidence and comfort to women with labia that bother them. Each labiaplasty is customized to achieve the individual woman’s desired result and needs. If the appearance of your labia bothers you or if your labia cause you discomfort, then labiaplasty may be right for you!

Procedure & Recovery

As an expert in the field of cosmetic gynecology, with years of experience, Dr. Bloy has  perfected the procedure and recovery protocol and his patients get the amazing results they are seeking. The key to a smooth recovery and an excellent outcome is to use ice nearly constantly and remain reclining for 24 hours post surgery. Prednisone and bromelain are given to minimize swelling and bruising and ensure an optimal result. This keeps swelling, pain and stress on the stitches to a minimum. Most women are able to resume normal, light activities in days. Vigorous exercise can be resumed in 4 weeks. Sexual intercourse can resume at 4-6 weeks depending on individual healing. We find that following our aftercare protocol strictly makes recovery tolerable and short and achieves the best result!

What does Labiaplasty cost?

Intimate rejuvenation is within reach at Contemporary Health Center. In most cases, Dr. Bloy is able to perform labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation procedures in the comfort of our office’s surgical room using local numbing medication. By eliminating costly anesthesia and hospital fees, as well as minimizing the risks associated with both, we are able to deliver exceptional results and keep the cost of this procedure surprisingly low. The exact cost depends on the specific needs of the patient.

Correction to the labia minora (inner labia) is most commonly sought. Some patients seek correction of the labia majora (outer labia), or both minora and majora. And at times, clitoral hood augmentation is desired. We encourage everyone to consider adding PRP Injection Therapy to their labiaplasty because of the unsurpassed benefits that the growth factors in PRP offer. After a thorough examination and discussion of your individual goal, he can recommend detailed treatment.

  • Labia majora $2500

Testimonial

“I have been contemplating labiaplasty for some time now. I only have one child and my issues with my labia were not due to childbirth. Obviously, this particular subject matter could even make the most self-assured a bit uncomfortable. Yet, there was never a moment that I felt judged in any way by Dr. Bloy or anyone in his office. Everyone …across the board… was supportive and reassuring.

The procedure was done under local anesthesia which made the choice easier for me. I did not even require medication to calm me down or sedate me, so I was able to drive myself to and from the appointment. The procedure was pain-free. I was in and out in under two hours with my brand new and pretty vagina!

I cannot begin to say enough times how highly I recommend Dr. Bloy and his office in Ft. Myers, Florida. They did everything but jump through hoops for me to make the experience streamlined and effortless. Dr. Bloy’s years of experience and caring heart will put you at ease every step of the way.”

Actual 48-Year-Old CHC Patient
Dr. Bloy and his office staff are so caring and professional, I knew I was in good hands. The instruction and care I received before, during, and after, made the procedure and recovery experience surprisingly enjoyable. I had minimal discomfort, because i kept my pelvis elevated and ice packs on rotation. I had contact with Dr bloy daily, following the procedure, and he was very attentive. My healing time was about three weeks, although I waited 6 weeks before intercourse. I couldn’t be happier with the results !! I love to be naked now!!!! Dr. Bloy’s team is amazing! I am happily a walking billboard for his expertise!
