What Is Vampire Facial® + RF?
This procedure is four proven anti-aging modalities in one treatment, using PRP, microneedling and the power of radio frequency. The Vampire Facial® +RF is a patented, non-surgical, safe and effective treatment that delivers serious anti-aging results. This treatment is a wonderful way to prevent visible signs of aging, correct damage and aging or maintain beautiful skin.
Vivace is our RF/radio frequency microneedling that utilizes microneedling CIT Therapy, RF/radio frequency energy therapy, and LED light therapy. “Collagen induction therapy”, also referred to as “CIT”, creates small entries into the dermis, causing the skin to respond with collagen production, which softens the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and sun damage. RF energy tightens the skin, shrinks pores, stimulates collagen, and coagulates broken vessels to reduce redness. LED light further stimulates growth and collagen.
The platelet rich plasma (PRP) is natural and comes from the patient’s own blood. It is delivering proven benefits in all areas of health and medicine. The science behind PRP and the amazing results are well documented in scientific and medical journals. PRP delivery to the dermis further enhances the microneedle treatment. Collagen production and new cell growth are stimulated by the growth factors in the PRP. PRP growth factors also stimulate blood supply to the skin. This creates a glow and luster to the skin that is unique to PRP.

Is Vampire Facial® + RF Safe?
Yes. Vivace RF Microneedling and PRP are safe for all skin types. While there are risks associated with anything, the risks of Vivace and PRP are the lowest and serious complications have not been seen.
How Many Treatments Are Recommended?
This depends on the individual goals of the patient. Patients often choose to have a series of 3-6 treatments to achieve the rejuvenation or correction they desire. As a preventative measure against the signs of aging or a powerful refresher, one treatment will produce great results. For maintenance, we recommend 1-2 treatments per year to keep the skin glowing, tight and bouncy!

If a series is needed for reversing serious aging or scarring, treatments are usually spaced 4-8 weeks apart.

When Will I See Results?
Most people notice improvements in hours or days. More benefits of this treatment can be seen as soon as 1 week. The skin will continue to improve as new cells, collagen, and elastin are produced. Full improvements can be seen for 6 months after the treatment.
How Long Do the Results Last?
Results are permanent in that they reverse years of aging or rebuild scarring. You will, though, continue to age from a new, refreshed starting point. Many patients find that yearly treatments allow them to continue to see improvements in their skin and to resist further signs of aging.
What Is the Recovery for a Vampire Facial® + RF?
Easy. The skin can appear pink for about 1-2 days. Makeup can be worn and regular skincare products can be used after 4-6 hours. It is best to avoid NSAIDS, corticosteroids, anti inflammatory medications, ibuprofen, and Aleve during the week following treatment. These medications are known to reduce the inflammatory phase that is an intentional part of the healing triggered by this treatment.
Is There Any Downtime?
Not really. The skin is sometimes more red for 1-3 hours after the procedure. No other products or makeup should be used until 4-6 hours after treatment to allow the PRP to work and to ensure the micro channels have closed.
